Guided excursions will be held at:

  • Primate Research Institute of Kyoto University in Inuyama

       The Primate Research Institute (PRI), Kyoto University is famous for    

       primate research. Research topics are diverse and include behavior,

       ecology, morphology, physiology, genomics, cognition and welfare.

       Here we can observe chimpanzees participating in automated cognitive          

​       experiments.

  • Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama in Kyoto

       At the famous tourist destination and study site Arashiyama Monkey

       Park we can observe free-ranging Japanese macaques.
